About the Designers

Melissa and Molly Carlson are a mother and 14 year old daughter that were recommended by Third's youth ministry coordinator, who knows we like to draw.
Given the nature of the volunteer work with hand tools building simple houses, we thought the logo should reflect that simplicity. The house has a family in it, the intent of getting families back into their homes, and a group of people around it, showing that many volunteers work together joyfully to accomplish the task. It was fun to brainstorm lots of ideas, and work with RH2NO's advisory committee to combine ideas and create something we all like. First logo we've ever done!

Prayer

"As we venture forth to serve in your name, O God, may your strong hand rest upon our shoulder. Amen."

"I worry that the government isn't doing enough; so many condemned/abandoned homes sit empty; atmosphere is depressing for those who have limited income."
